if you have time before getting on the ferry, we suggest a walk through this beautiful town. The whole center of the town is 1700 years old so we believe your sightseeing will be very interesting. Visit Diocletian's cellars, Peristil, Vestibul and the climbing through the bell-tower of the St Dujam's church is unforgettable. Enjoy a great view to the open sea there. You will see two islands...the one on the right is beautiful Šolta. Split has plenty of good restaurants and numerous cafés you can find on the main promenade – Riva. Center of the town is about 10 minutes walking distance away from the port. |
